The Junior Benstead Cup
Awarded to the highest placed junior (under 18) in the Benstead Cup competition.
This trophy was won by West Surrey DA in a French event, the 5ème Randonnée Internationale “En Haut Pays d’Artois” organised by Audax Club Boulonnais in September 1982. The cup was awarded to the second largest overseas contingent, and was received on behalf of the DA contingent by John Whatmore, who had served as DA Secretary not long before.
At the club's AGM in October 2011 the Benstead Cup competition was suspended.
At the club's annual dinner on 14th March 2025 the cup was presented to Colin Edwards for the most club rides during the past year by a rider aged over 75.
