INTERMEDIATE GROUP SUNDAY RIDES FOR NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 1980
The Intermediate group (leader: Keith Parfitt, Guildford 60776) covers from 50 miles upwards during the day, at a
steady pace, and is especially interested in welcoming new riders of all ages to the D.A.
Rides generally start at 9.30 a.m. each Sunday and members are welcome to join us for all or part of the day (for
instance, join us at elevenses or ride with us until after lunch - the possibilities are endless!). Lunchtime destinations
are left open and are decided according to the capabilities of the riders out on a particular Sunday. D.A. teas provide
an opportunity to meet members riding with the General and Wayfarers groups.
Meeting places: Chobham (Chobham War Memorial, near mini-roundabout); The Fox (pub at Rickford Mill,
near Pirbright); Ripley (Clock House); Pirbright Green (the green at Pirbright village); Send (New Inn);
Normandy (Normandy Cross Roads); Guildford (Public Library, North Street, Guildford).
