Ladies and Gentlemen, our D.A. has this year enjoyed the benefits of a
superb summer and steadily increasing membership. Attendance on our
regular weekly rides has increased, more "Weekends" have been demanded
and there has been a much keener interest in the Benstead Cup events.
Average Attendances - Sundays - 25, Thursday Evenings - 10.
Organised Weekend Runs have been made in Nov. to Streatley & Duntisbourne Abbots, in Dec. to Cranbourne, in Jan. to the Black Mountains, in July the "Wayfarers" went to Arundel, in Aug to E. Sussex & W. Kent. The Thursday Nighters also had runs in May to Mottisfont and in Oct. to Maiden Bradley.
The Benstead Cup Competition has engendered
far greater interest this year, possibly as a result of the information
sheet passed around early in the season. The total number of entrants
has risen from 84 last year to 115 this year.

Speedjudging evening event, 16 entrants, won again by George Alesbury.
