This cup commemorates Bill Inder, a founder member of West Surrey DA and a leading light over many decades, serving as DA secretary, treasurer, president and runs leader, who died in February 1992 in his 88th year (Obituaries: “Cycle Touring and Campaigning”, “The West Surrey Cyclist”). It is awarded to the winner of the Sunday Attendance competition, replacing the Edwards Cup in 1993.
